Velview

1. General Terms

By engaging with Velview, its advertisements, or its services, customers agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Velview reserves the right to modify, update, or withdraw any offers, promotions, or pricing without prior notice. Engagement with promotional material does not constitute a binding agreement until a site inspection or consultation has been completed and a formal quote has been issued.

2. Offers & Promotions

All promotional offers advertised via Meta (Facebook & Instagram) or any other platform are time-limited, subject to availability, and may be modified or withdrawn without notice.

Example promotions include:

  • “Winter Flash Sale – 30% Off uPVC Windows”

  • “Full House Windows & Doors From $29,999”

  • “EOFY + Winter Deal – Save Up To $5,000”

  • “30% Off + Free Security Door Upgrade”

  • “Free Acoustic Glazing Upgrade – Worth Up To $4,000”

Any promotion that includes a free security door upgrade is strictly limited to a maximum of two (2) security door upgrades per household/property, unless otherwise stated in writing by Velview.

All prices and inclusions in promotions are indicative only and subject to a full site inspection. Velview is not responsible for any misunderstanding or assumptions based on promotional content.

3. Site Inspection & Pricing

  • Final pricing is confirmed only after an on-site inspection or consultation.

  • Factors that affect pricing include, but are not limited to: property size, number of windows/doors, style and finish preferences, glazing and hardware upgrades, and site accessibility.

  • Customers agree that promotional pricing is an estimate and may not reflect the final quote.

4. Scheduling and Completion Timeframes

All start dates, scheduling windows, and completion timeframes provided by Velview — including any estimates referenced in advertisements, quotations, discussions, or promotional material — are approximate estimates only and are not guaranteed completion dates.

Project timelines may change due to factors including but not limited to:

  • weather conditions

  • acts of God or natural events

  • illness or staff availability

  • site access restrictions

  • site conditions or property complexity

  • preparation requirements or previously undiscovered surface issues

  • additional work requested by the client

  • delays caused by the client or third parties

  • material shortages or supplier delays

  • subcontractor availability

  • safety requirements

  • regulatory or compliance requirements

  • any other unforeseen circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Velview.

Velview will make reasonable efforts to complete works within estimated timeframes; however, the Client acknowledges that project duration may vary depending on the circumstances of each property and job.

Delays resulting from the above factors do not constitute a breach of contract, and Velview will not be liable for any loss, inconvenience, or damages arising from such delays.

5. Booking, Deposits & Payment

  • A deposit may be required to secure a booking and initiate the order process.

  • The deposit amount and payment schedule will be clearly outlined in the formal quote.

  • Deposits are non-refundable unless Velview is unable to provide the agreed-upon service.

  • Final payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Late payments may incur administrative charges or interest.

6. Service Limitations

  • Velview provides supply and installation of uPVC windows and doors only.

  • The business does not perform structural modifications, electrical adjustments, or repairs unrelated to window and door installation.

  • Any additional work not explicitly outlined in the final quote must be approved separately and may incur extra charges.

7. Liability & Warranty

  • Velview is not liable for pre-existing structural issues, water damage, or any other property-related concerns not identified during the inspection.

  • The business is not responsible for indirect damages, unrealistic expectations, or delays caused by third parties or external factors (e.g., supplier delays, weather).

  • All services are provided ‘as is’ unless otherwise stated in writing.

  • Warranties apply only to materials and workmanship clearly specified in the agreed scope of work.

8. Consumer Rights & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms & Conditions do not override any rights customers have under Australian Consumer Law.

  • In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to seek resolution amicably before considering legal action.

  • All disputes will be governed by the laws and jurisdiction of Australia.

By requesting a quote, booking an installation, or otherwise engaging with Velview, customers confirm they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
